Kinjal and Anand

When Kinjal and Anand came to the studio to do their engagement session I left with my jaw on the floor. They came out in their wedding day Indian attire and I was in LOVE! The colors and details were amazing! Since I can't share those pictures until after the big day in July here are some of my favs from the outdoor session.

Amy and Jonathon

Amalauna and Jonathon had a lot to deal with on their big day. A rock slide, a HUGE snow storm, lots of rain, and a photographer that almost didn't make it! After being stuck in the snow and ice, we followed behind a snow plower to make it up the mountain. Our destination was Young Harris, Georgia. The quirky couple filled the haphazard day with nothing but positive energy and smiles. Seeing them "make it through the storm" makes me certain they can overcome anything life throws their way! Thanks for an awesome experience Amy and Jonathon! Everything ended up beautiful. I wish you all the best!

The Walker Family

I met all of the extended Walker Family on a crisp day before Thanksgiving. When I saw their bright and cheerful wardrobe I knew it was a match made in heaven. We drove out to The Pinehurst Resort and Country Club and enjoyed some pictures amongst the freshly cut green. Happy Holidays to you all and enjoy!

Amanda and Andrew Wedding at Fearrington Farm and Village

November 8, 2009 was by far the nicest day of the month to get married at the well renowned Fearrington Farm and Village. With the weather in the mid- 70's everything seemed to go according to plan. With guests coming from California to Georgia there was a great representation for both sides. Amanda and Andrew have been one of the sweetest couples I have every worked with. Their laid back attitudes and genuine love made it easy to capture some very intimate moments. May God bless you both!

I am SO behind on my BLOG... here's a quick update

Since July (my last post) I have.....

Shot a wedding in Washington DC. Congrats to Lashonda and Nakia!
Done a bridal session and wedding for Britney and Josh in South Carolina.
Had many baby and kid sessions at the studio and various parks around town.
Finished an engagement session downtown for Ivy and Adam!!!
Completed a One Year Anniversary shoot for the owners of With This Favor.... check out their BLOG and the sweet shout out! http://www.withthisfavor.com/blog/
Met Lauren and Matthew for a fun fall engagement session.
Had an amazing time shooting Amanda and Andrew's beautiful wedding at Fearrington Village (pictures to come)!

Don't be discouraged! Most of these sessions are under the slideshow tab of my website so you can see ALL the action. No excuses of course but.... I am 30 weeks pregnant today and I have put this BLOG on the back burner. Thank you to all my patient brides and grooms dealing with me since the first of May (when we found out!) and in the future... my December weddings... I PROMISE to give you 110% !!!

Jackson Kane Sanders will be here in January.... we just can't wait to meet him!

This Very Colorful Occasion was a dream come true for me and my camera. Amber is a lady after my own heart using bold bright colors that reflected her cheery personality! The events took place in Raleigh, NC with a gorgeous reception at the NC State Alumni Club.
